A good place to start and I appreciate the numbers! And thinking! The deepest question for me is about the concept of ethics though. I think we need a new word for modern-day and metacognition. Ethics is a prettier fraught concept beyond initial what-about barbs. I don’t think an everyone everywhere all the time framework is feasible. Still a good question and exploration here though.
What makes ethics a fraught concept? To me, the systems in which we live *are* the everyone everywhere all the time framework. I intend to apply my metacognition to those systems to create ones which are ~more~ ethical. It's not about achieving a perfect universal ethic, I agree such a concept is elusive. But proposing a system which moves as objectively as possible in a more ethical direction, that seems possible. What do you think?
I’m only clarifying here. I mostly mean the necessary discussion is fraught with frameworks tied to a real-world variable context that changes priorities. I don’t mean it shouldn’t be pursued. It is also fraught, the discussion, because “ethics” implies the most powerful Should, so it’s hard to step outside the boxes of tradition (left or right) or even environment (contexts).

Pretty not prettier. Hey Substack, these comment/edit features need some work.
